Galleries and dealers are often approached by customers with art they wish to sell and often have to say no if they are not involved in the secondary market. However as an Artbank Affiliate you can refer them to Artbank via your website and earn money on any advertising they buy. Artbank's Affiliate's programme enables ANYONE with a qualifying website to earn income just by adding an Artbank banner to their website and introducing others to the benefits of Artbank. You will then automatically earn up to 25% commission on all advertising purchased from Artbank via your site AND up to 25% off your own advertising placed via our banner. Does it cost anything to become an Artbank affiliate?
Nothing, there are no fees of any kind for participating in the Artbank Affiliate programme and you can earn commission right from the start.
What is the commission structure?
Couldn't be more simple. If you are keen to maximise revenue from your affiliation with Artbank - place the banner on your Homepage and earn 25%. If you place it anywhere else on your site it is 20%.
Getting started
We recommend that all potential Affiliates read our Terms and Conditions below at the base of the Application Form. Then simply complete the Application Form to register your interest. Once approved, we will send you your Affiliate ID to insert in the HTML code of your chosen banner. You then just proceed as in Banner Graphics below.
Do all websites qualify to be affiliates?
Most websites should qualify to participate in the programme; however, we reserve the right to reject applications from websites we deem unsuitable. Examples of sites that would not qualify for participation include those that:
• promote sexually explicit material
• promote violence
• promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation, or age
• promote illegal activities
• violate intellectual property rights
Artbank.com tracks credits purchased by those introduced via our Affiliates sites using a special format that includes each affiliate's unique account code. Every time a customer follows one of those links to our site, this unique URL tells us which account sent the customer to us.
Tracking from your website
We track all visitors from your website with an identifier that is embedded in our system for 30 days from when they first visit. This means that if they do not Register and buy credits on the first visit any subsequent direct visit and purchase within 30 days will be credited to you.
When do I get paid?
We will pay your commission on a quarterly basis. Within 30 days following the end of each calendar quarter we will send you a cheque for the commission earned during that quarter. If the commission payment is less than £25 for the quarter we will hold over the amount until the next quarter. If you are an Affiliate based in the UK and registered for VAT please inform us of your registration number before the first payment is due as we use a self billing system for payments.
Banner Graphics
After you have completed the application at the bottom of this page you will receive an Affiliate ID, follow the 3 steps below to create a banner that links to Artbank. Please not that our Affiliation system only works if you actually place a banner on your website.
Step 1: Copy the HTML Code to the right of your selected banner size.
Step 2: Paste the code into your web page.
Step 3: Replace the X in affiliateid=X with your assigned affiliate ID and that's all there is to it!
